So Im in year 13 and am currently going through the process of applying for university. Ive settled on doing a Bsc in economics (hopefully at Warwick) but what I really want to do is mathematics. The reason Ive chosen economics over maths is because I didn't take further maths for a lvl which I regret greatly. Part of me wants to take a year out, get a part time job, and study further maths at my local college.
I spoke to my maths teacher about this and she told me that she did an economics degree but took all the maths units. So I suppose my question is do I do economics which I find quite dull, or do I take a gap year to study further maths (not even sure if this is possible), or are there any other options?
