Advice about university and making friends Watch

I ended up not going to freshers tonight due to the fact I hate clubs and now really regret it. I'm really worried not making friends at uni as I feel like everyone will sort of know each other and I'll be alone as everyone will have their groups when I meet people in societies I jojn. I feel slightly depressed because of it as university was going to be a new start for me. Any advice

Its not even ten yet, shut down your laptop and get your ass in that club NOW
If you dont like clubs, but like socializing, dw there'll be plenty other opportunities for that.
If you dont like socializing at all wlc to the club

tbh there's not much socialising done at clubs, but you do form this mystic bond if you help someone vomit in a slightly more dignified way.

Long story short- the whole clubbing scene is not for the majority of students. You're not a special snowflake and there will be others like you. The only difficulty might be meeting these people if you close yourself in your room all day. A good start is to join one of the hundreds of university societies you have. Frickin go a bit earlier to the lecture and talk with the people there/outside the lecture theatre. There's plenty of oppurtunities so don't worry!
