I have just finished my 1st year business studies and failed my resit in Aug,i have to appeal so that i can do my 2nd year and still give my resit exams again. I've got my 1 core module to resit again. I have had a break up with my boyfriend and since then I have not been able to focus on my studies!! I am overall a very dedicated student with l 4 A* at A levels with a scholarship to study at uni. Can i give the above breakup reason in the appeal application??? Also during my Aug resit exam i was in Asia duing an Internship with a very good company so i had very less time to resart my studies for the 1 exam whicb i gave from Asia whilst doing my internship! Please help me with some solutions as to how do I let my uni know that i am a sincere student and want to do my 2nd year whilst reappearing for my 1st yr core module again!!
Will be really helpful if someone can guide me further about the reason of apeeal as a breakup would help or not?
    Thanks

If I am honest: no. A breakup isn't a sufficient reason. I reckon you could possibly explain your internship situation. However, do expect that they will ask you to either repeat first year or leave the course. You have failed the core module twice now.
