Ordering online from River Island

Im going to a 'do' on Saturday as my manager at work is leaving, I need something to wear, so far Ive scoured all the high street stores and cant find anything I like! :frown:

I dont normally shop at River Island but I saw a few tops on their website which are exactly what Im looking for

I need them by Saturday though, if I order them today/tomorrow do you reckon they'd come by then? Only thing is, their express delivery fee is £6.95, which seems a bit high to me?!! Standard is £3.95, it says delivery is 3-5 working days?

Also after having a look on the RI website and seeing what I wanted I decided to have a look in my local store to see if they had them there first, went this morning and its just full of sale stuff :rolleyes:

They have a tiny section of non- sale stuff and thats it!!

Don't do it!

I ordered 8 tops from there for a night out, and paid for express delivery because we needed them 5 days later - they didn't arrive for 8 days! I dread to think what standard delivery must be like. :eek:

Stay away. I ordered some tops from there once, paid for the 'next day' delivery. they didn't come from over a week! I needed them for a wedding as well :mad:

Last time I ordered from River Island, I went for normal delivery and it came the next morning. No guarantees this will happen, but it did with my order.

Ive never actually ordered from River Island but when ive ordered from any highstreet store online its always been there within the specified 3-5 days. I would have thought everywhere would be more or less the same although from reading some of the above posts perhaps not :s-smilie:

My river island purchases online always seem to come within the time given but I suppose this might depend on local postal/courier services.

I used to work for river island, you can't order stuff in from their store, only online. They might have non-sale stuff in the stock room so just describe the tops you want and they could bring it down for you if they got it.
