Feeling glum about the high numbers of people on here who are considering dropping out of uni, after their first week of Freshers.

I know it doesn't seem like it at the moment, specially for people who've never been away from home, but it does get easier.

Just push yourself out of your comfort zone once each day, and that comfort zone will be a whole lot bigger after another week.

yeah I echo this advice. even coming back as a second year, I miss the comforts of home but soon enough when lectures start and the work becomes regular it will fly by I promise. plus you will meet great mates and really settle in and by that time 12 weeks have passed and Christmas holidays have arrived! after that the terms are short and before you know it easter has come and gone and its heads down for summer exams from then on. stick it out
