I've always been very good at English from a primary level. I've always had High A'S and A grades in my coursework in GCSE Higher English Language & Literature .
But when i took my mock GCSE's in English Lang & Lit, i've always gotten relatively low grades such as B's or C's, i dont know why, it seems like i just cant be consistent when it comes to actual sit down exams.

Anyone take a guess to why this might be?

Yes; many people like coursework much better than exams, as they are not good at exams!

maybe you just panick too much in exams, and write irrelivant information ?

Well, English is one of those subjects in which an essay that one teacher marks an A could be marked a C by another. As they were your mock results, your teacher might have been marking harshly, and giving you the worst possible marks, whereas in coursework they have to be as fair as possible. For the real exams, the examiner will be fairer, and in essay subjects I guess they have to be marked a few times, to get the fairest mark.

Don't worry I was in the exact same situation as you. I got A's in all the coursework and then C/D's in the mocks, it worried me too! I ended up getting an A in Language and a B in Literature (they sent it off for remarking but it still came back as a B ) but hey there's nothing wrong with a B! Don't try and predict how you've done because you just never know
