Do you think talking on the phone with someone, putting them on speaker so you could talk to other people is rude or not? Depends who you're talking, if so what are the exceptions ?

err I can't say I've ever been in a situation where I've had to text somebody whilst I'm on the phone. I'm sure the text can wait a few minutes

It is quite rude especially if the person you're speaking to is opening up to you or something.

I have done it a few times tbf so I'm not innocent but usually I would tell the person on the phone that I'm just going to quickly text back.

I do it all the time because often the person on the phone is not really saying much or talking too slowly. I get why it could be seen as rude if the person is opening up to you about something but i am good at multitasking so I can still pay them enough attention.

Not rude if you can seemlessly multitask. Also not rude if with a casual contact/only momentary. Otherwise, pretty rude, NGL:mute:

Depends what the conversation is about. Generally I think it's alright as long as you're still engaged and listening to them, making eye contact occasionally. Just don't blank them completely y'know. It's different if they're talking to you about something serious though.
