Hi, I was reading the postgraduate loan policy on eligibility, and I noticed it says '
Applicants will not be eligible for PGL if they have outstanding student loan arrears '.

I am uncertain about what 'oustanding' means - any existing loan owed to the SLC? Or just payments that where somehow missed?

I finished my undergraduate course in 2007 and still have not repayed it, although I have made payments where I met the income threshold. I am unsure whether I am classed as in arrears or not?

    Hi,

Arrears occur if payments have not been made where eligible to repay. You can still be eligible for a post graduate loan if you have had a loan previously with SLC as long as there is no arrears on it.

    Thanks
