After having spoken to a number of agency HCAs, I began to put out some feelers as to how much a full-time agency HCA could potentially earn.

The figures varied but depending on how many shifts you want to work along with how many mile you're prepared to travel/drive to. You could earn anything from 25K up to and over 40K after tax!

I was astounded by the response, to say the least!

Can anyone verify this or does anyone know of someone who is or has done this?

It's very unlikely. HCA jobs tend to be around minimum wage, although you may hey extra for unsociable hours. So you'd have to work a lot of hours to earn 25k. It's technically possible but you'd have no spare time to spend your wages.
