    Hi, I had completed work experience in a Chartered Accountants firm but I am struggling in trying to link this into my Economics personal statement. I have wrote something about the ways that depreciation was calculated and how individuals use use this in order to reduce their taxable income, then I said something about how they act in response to that.

    Does anyone know how I could tie this in? Thanks

    I don't think it's a good idea to explain to the admissions tutor about how something is calculated. I think you should tell them what you did, and what skills you gained doing so.

    Well I didn't necessarily refer to how they were calculated, but said I found it interesting the many ways they were calculated and how businesses would change this data to reduce their taxable income. But I will take on board about the skills gained, thanks.
