    Hi.
I am currently in year 13 and considering applying to university when I have done my A-Levels, as opposed to right now.
I don't want to apply for deferred entry because
    a) I didn't do that well at AS; I got 3 As and 1 C at AS and kinda want to go to Oxford
    b) I want to take a year out to raise some cash

How would I do this? Would I use the same UCAS account I have now? How would I get teacher's references? Where would I take the HAT test?
    Thanks.

I'd strongly recommend applying this year - it wont hurt your chances to reapply again next year but it will give you some really useful experience of how UCAS and student finance works while you have support from your school/college so that next year you'll be able to breeze through the process.

Speak to your school/college about references and taking the HAT next year.
