    Essentially, my gcses are:

    6 As 1A* 4 Bs and a B in additional mathematics ( AS level)

I did my AS year and achieved:
    an A in epq
    a C in drama
    a B in biology
    a C in maths
    and a D in chemistry.

I've redone my AS year in maths biology chemistry
I got an A in chemistry
    an A in maths
    and a B in biology ( was 2 marks off an A)

I've been predicted A*AA with an A* in maths;however I could probably ask my teachers to give me A*A*A with an A* in chemistry also.

Is it worth applying to bath or will I fail miserably due to competition?

You should definitely apply. AAB is a good set of grades to apply with and the As in chemistry and maths are especially impressive. I went to an open day for chemical engineering at Bath this year and they said that they gave 600 offers that year, despite only having 100 places. So it is practically guaranteed that you will get an offer.

    Hope this helps
