So... I just finished my IGCS's, and mostly got B's And C's. I want to study marketing on my level 3 qualifications. So I thought I'll do BTEC. But it's almost past September and admissions to most of the places here are closed. I live in Qatar. I'm moving to Manchester in July 2017. So, my idea is that should I take a gap year and wait till I go to Manchester to start my BTEC or start my BTEC here and continue it when I go to Manchester. Also, I'm 16, is it even possible for me to take a gap year? My mom and most of my close friends think its a bad idea and that I would eventually get bored... Really need help on what to do

You need L3 qualification (btec/a-levels) to go to 3 A-Levels or equivalent (Extended Diploma)
