Hey man Sulley Muntari was ****ing brilliant in his prime.

That goal for Portsmouth where he nutmegged that lad then curved it around with the outside of his foot from 35 yards.

Sulley Muntari won a treble and was an exceedingly good player. Pogba has not proved he is up to that yet.

Romelu Lukaku - It's easy to score goals against sh*t teams when the entire game plan is getting the ball to you. As if people think it was the wrong decision to bin him for Costa.

^ This. He is hyped to the max but he is essentially at the level of Giroud.

Yeah. He is what he is, which is a good but not great striker. He's capable of leading the line at Everton but at a bigger side he wouldn't get that 1 in 2.

Where would Lukaku move to? I think PSG are the only big-ish club that would take him.

In a big team, he'd be against much more compact teams which would mark him out of games. Probably why he ran from Chelsea in 2013.

Chelsea would probably take him back. Few rumours.

I don't see Chelsea getting him, as he said outright that he wanted to leave Everton in the summer. If they wanted him, they'd have struck then, surely. Conte/Emenolo/Abramovich must not have wanted him.

I don't see Lukaku wanting to join Chelsea. The reason he left there originally is because Torres would be the starting striker with him and Eto'o rotating as the second/third choice.

Now he'd be joining with a genuine world class starting striker and a second choice striker who is better than Eto'o. I don't really see what has changed.

We tried to buy lukaku and morata many times in the summer. He was our target if we sold Costa to atletico alongside morata. Nobody in a chelsea shirt actually wanted costa to leave. We were just annoyed with the fact we had no cover for costa other than falcao and remy. The entire premise was to have him and use him like batshuayi.

Also considering teams wouldn't leave themselves open vs a team like Everton anyway and hurt them on the counter.

The premise was flawed. The same thing was offered to him in 2013, to which he declined.

Everton made it clear that £65m was the number, if Chelsea paid that they'd have got him. I don't even think that a bid was made.

Given that Atleti signed Gameiro in July, it was obvious they weren't going to get Costa.

Because no one actually likes Lukaku , he comes off as a bit of a dick. Costa you could have a chill down with and he'd even make some funny jokes and impressions for lolz. Plus when your team is in a fight you know Costa will be the first guy running in with windmill arms.

    Basically, **** Lukaku.

Reports were pretty obvious that Costa wanted to go to Atlético and so did Simeone want him. They signed Gameiro in July but that was clearly because they couldn't afford the fee we would have asked for Costa.

Yeah but United's main strength is Liverpool's weakness. Pogba/Fellaini/Ibra vs Mignolet on set pieces.
