    Hi everyone,

For anyone who has had experiencing studying for a TEFL course I would like to get some insight into your experiences after:
    - which TEFL course did you do and where ?
    - difficulty/easy finding a job. Where did you look for jobs ?
    - which country you've had experience teaching in and what it was like ?
    - recommendations for someone who wants to also teach abroad.

This would be very much appreciated !

Sorry I have only just seen this. I will be happy to help where I can and share my own experience but you will find it varies a lot from country to country and even from school to school.

    - I did the Cambridge CELTA as I wanted to teach in Europe.
    - It was so easy finding a job. I applied to various countries in Southern Europe. I ended up in Portugal as it was the first to offer me a job. I tried applying to Vietnam later and that too was really easy. I got offered a job within days.
    - I have only taught in Portugal. I am just starting my 4th year here. I only came for a year and just can't drag myself away. Trust me I have tried lol.
    - I would definitely research and look at job ads for places you might be interested in. As I did a different course before doing the CELTA. They promised me that I could get a job in Europe with it. In reality that wasn't the case.
I might PM you later if I have time with some more help and advice
