    Ok I find that am better at manga than regular realistic art, because I've been doing it ever since I first picked up a pencil. And for our Yr11 module were doing Identity which means I get to choose although i hear the examiners frown upon this, but Manga is still art is it not?

    Double check with your art teacher they would know more about it than anyone but i don't really see a problem with it although you nay not get high marks

    I did but she said it isn't considered real art, but real art isn't challenging enough.

    Maybe show her a piece? If you haven't already. By her comment perhaps she means it'd be difficult to achieve higher marks?
