Brand new DSA laptop not working

    So the laptop I've got through DSA arrived this morning. It's been set up, and I went to have a go at using it this evening - nothing complicated, I just sent myself a couple of photos from an old computer to put as a desktop background.

    Problem is, the file explorer crashes every time you try to do anything, no matter how small or big: copy and paste a file, extract 3 images from a zip folder etc. I'm doing an art course which means lots of files and folders so the file explorer crashing every 3 seconds isn't going to be helpful.

    Going to wait and see if it keeps happening but if so I don't know what to do about contacting the suppliers because explaining the problem and getting a replacement/repair might take a while and my course starts in a few days.

    Any advice?

    If you don't find a fix - contact the suppliers, then try using a third-party file manager until you get a replacement. It should be easy to find one through Google, hope it works!
