    Hi,

So earlier today I saw this sign
    Name: IMG_20160921_005843.jpg
Views: 23
Size: 500.2 KB and I absolutely had no idea what it meant. As you can see it doesn't say "except for vehicles". I went through the road and then when I went home found out it could lead to a fine.

It only happened a few hours ago and I was wondering if you guys think it's possible for me to appeal against it if the fine does arrive.

It means no motor vehicles. How'd you pass your theory not knowing this sign? Either way, I say always appeal any fine you get, even if its for some bs reason. At the very least, it'll give you more time to pay.

Passed with flying colours. Plus it was several months ago and no one remembers all the signs. Do you think also because there is no "except for.." sign at the bottom it would make a good excuse

Not really, I would say the best excuse is always that that the lamppost wasnt working and it was too dark so you couldnt see it or that it was obscured or something
