SOAS accommodation

hi,

I'm an int. student and I am planning to apply to SOAS for grad studies and I wanted to know more about the accommodations there. I read that most students choose the Halls of Residence. Could someone from SOAS tell me more about the accommodations present there. Like what are the pros and cons of residence as compared to private accommodation or some other option. Thanks.
