Nursing Sept 17 - Route of entry??

    • Thread Starter

I am 31 and applying to University to study nursing.

Is anyone else applying or have applied already using none typical qualifications as entry? And how have they been received?

I am using Open University Credits, a level 3 advanced apprenticeship in health and social care, and my GCSEs A-C (which boggles me as why they are so adamant they want them as theyre 16 years old haha)

On doing my personal statement now and keep changing it panicking incase its not good enough!!

Many people apply every year to nursing with non traditional qualifications as many who do apply tend to be mature students with families, previous degrees (or perhaps limited qualifications) and then job experience.
Hope the personal statement has worked itself out and best of luck.
