    Hi.

I met this cute girl at uni.
    We both hit it off.
The problem is, my parents said they will cut ties with me if I keep seeing her.
    What to do?.

You're at university - just keep it on the DL and no-one will know.

Or lie and say she's Jewish

Say she is part ethnically Jewish but doesn't practise Judaism.
Tell them you will convert the girl eventually (can lie) and make aliyah together - parents will love that!

I'm only concerned about your Uni experience/Degree to be honest. You have to prioritise and think about what's more important for you in the long run. Good luck with whichever choice you take...

Don't tell them then. They don't live with you.

Are you seriously going to let your parents tell you who you can love or not love?
They are not you. The only thing that matters is your feelings. What about a compromise

You're an adult. If you like her, see her.

Listen to your parents. Family over chicks any time. You'll find a cute Jewish chick, just hang out at the synagogue.

Not necessarily. He might not fing a Jewish girl he likes. Besides, ever heard of a multi-faith society? That's my point. Don't let religion or parents get in the way of true feelings. It's like having your parents make all of your decisions for you.

With dozens of millions of Jewish girls out there - chances are pretty good.

Yep, and I am all in favor of it. Just not a proponent of mixed-faith relationships. My wife (previously agnostic) converted for me, and she's very happy with it - and so am I and my family.

No, it's nothing like that. It's respecting your families wish - you can still choose the girl you want.

Apparently not. If I was in the OP's shoes, I would stick with what my heart says, and that is the Christian girl.
