    Hey all,
I'm hoping to drop out of college and self-study my a-level as I'm really not enjoying the college experience. As I'm already 17 and spent a year before college doing a BTEC it'd be preferential to get through it one year to avoid the extra things I'd have to pay my Mum when I turn 18 i.e council tax etc. and make up for the year I arguably wasted doing a BTEC.
Obviously not doing AS levels would help me in this so, do I need AS levels for uni or is it just A2 I need?? Also any general advice on my overall situation would be appreciated. Peace.

AS is the first half of the A Level, so you'll find it impossible to do A Levels without doing the AS part.

Yeah like Juno said, you need AS and A2 BOTH to get a full A-Level.

Not technically true anymore due to linear A Levels but you do need to do the units that would be in the AS as part of the A2
