Present for bf going uni

My bf turns 18 in a couple of weeks and is off to uni. I wanna get him a good present. Poss something to take to uni. I am really stuck for ideas and am going shopping in an hour!

Any ideas? or good presents you recieved before you went uni or for 18th??

When my then-boyfriend turned 18, I bought him 18 little presents, one for every year of his life :biggrin:

It wasn't too hard finding 18 small things, and he was really touched.

I got a playstation 2 from him when I turned 18. I loved it :biggrin:

i got my bf a couple of dvds for hsi 18th. i then got him a couple of little things that have meaning to us and he said he was really impressed cos everything had meaning behind and was significant even the dvds) and i'd covered everything with yellow stickies with comments on. i also baked him a cake .

one of my friends bought her bf a really nice watch for his 18th.

for a going-to-uni present one of my mates has made him a calender using something like photoshop and each month has a picture of them from that month (only works if you've been together over a year)

for my boyfriends 18th i bought him tickets to go see the coral because he said he really wanted to go see them once..

that calender thing is so cute-i would do that for my boyfriend when he goes to uni but i don't really have any photos... :frown:
