When my then-boyfriend turned 18, I bought him 18 little presents, one for every year of his life It wasn't too hard finding 18 small things, and he was really touched.

I got a playstation 2 from him when I turned 18. I loved it

That 18 presents is the type of thing that i would do, except i would make each one something to do with being that age because i'm weird.

i got my bf a couple of dvds for hsi 18th. i then got him a couple of little things that have meaning to us and he said he was really impressed cos everything had meaning behind and was significant even the dvds) and i'd covered everything with yellow stickies with comments on. i also baked him a cake .

one of my friends bought her bf a really nice watch for his 18th.

for a going-to-uni present one of my mates has made him a calender using something like photoshop and each month has a picture of them from that month (only works if you've been together over a year)

What, so if someone was going to give you 18 presents, you'd turn them down?
