I know these aren't necessarily necessary, but having stuff like Relevant Work Experience (W.E.) and Extra-curricular activities (ECA) can really help boost your personal statement (P.S.) and improve your chances at getting the offer to the university you really want to go to.
I have no W.E. and I don't have that many impressive things to talk about regarding my ECAs so here's the problem...
My school is making me apply now for the 2017 courses and that is what I want to do, however, there doesn't seem to be much time - time for revamping and doing stuff to improve my P.S. - although I am trying to find stuff and it's kind of hard - I've still got time to improve my P.S.
My question is, will I be able to apply anytime between after I've submitted my application and before I finish my A-levels for the 2017 courses again? What if I can apply again after my A-levels but for the 2017 courses?
I'm thinking of quickly getting a rough idea of one of the books I mentioned so that I can say I have read it and maybe comment on it. I'm also thinking of getting a qualification in AS further maths. I'm already doing Volunteering. If the answer to the above questions is no, can you offer any advice about trying to get in some quick experience or something?
2017 courses - Personal Statement and UCAS - applying twice?
