Yeah. I have over 200 contacts on MSN and have serious conversations with most of them; there's only a few that I can't talk to properly on there.

    What's the deal with kk?

In face to face conversations, do we say ok, ok?

Here is one theory; 'kk' may be used for example when person A is explaining an idea online. Person B therefore says 'kk' to fill in a subsequent gap confirming that they understood that part of the idea. Let me give you a demonstration-

    - Person A: Umm, lol, so I was like no Steve, I ain't going out with you because I'd rather go out with a frog

    Person B:kk

Person A: Then Steve was like, 'You mean dat crazy frog on da phone? With da ring tunes? Haha, he aint even real'

Since person B said, kk earlier, it now allows Person A to continue their story and recieve confirmation (from before) that Person B follows

Person A: So then I was like get a life Steve. And I walked away, lol. So what else you been up 2?

I really hate repetitive MSN convos. There was this one girl that I knew briefly through a friend in year 11 who suddenly added me during year 12. All she basically said was what the OP said, complete with text speak. She used to do it several times and day so I blocked her eventually.

I have over 100 contacts on MSN and I speak to literally 2-3 of them. I don't know how it happened.

I just deleted all but six of my contacts. It's very liberating.

I don't understand all this "msn" melarky. Back in my day we just used to ring the town bell and meet on the courtyard.

    Drive me insane

    "wuu2?"
    "nm"
    "kk"
    "lol"

Please no more, why can't people either make proper conversation or just be quiet?
    WTF?

    Can you imagine that though?

    *bell rings*
Martin Luther: "I have gathered you all here to hand out my version of the bible! Go forth and glory in it! *theological blather*"
    Crowd: "lol kk thxbai"
    Martin: *sigh*
