Hi, I am currently studying adult nursing but was wondering if you can do a CPD course to be a child and adults nurse? I couldn't decide which one to pick when I started so just went with adult.

Have you tried looking this up or talking to your tutors? I doubt it'll be a short course but there may be options.

Yes, there are conversion courses which usually take around a year or 18 months to complete, however very few universities offer these and it is very competitive. It may be referred to as a conversion or second registration programme. Some require secondment. Realistically it is very difficult to gain a place on one of these courses.

Honestly, if you feel you have chosen the wrong branch you may be better off reapplying, depending what stage in your course you are at.*
