Talking about question time in economics personal statement-is it relevant
For my eps I am doing a question along the lines of
Would India have been better of economically if the British had never arrived
This stemmed from an episode of question time that I watched where the were talking about the empire. I want to talk about this but am not sure if the question time is relevant to economics as I'm not going into politics

You can definitely talk about it from an economic perspective. Remember that there are no hard and fast boundaries between such interrelated subjects.
