I did my ukcat today and got an average of 597 which is really bad and band 2 in STJ . I got 5 A*'s , 5 A's and B in English language at GCSE. I am predicted 3 A's and I wanted to apply for dentistry at the start . I have done 2 weeks of work experience at a dentist and I really enjoyed it . Is it still worth applying and what universities should I apply for ?

You ve nothing to lose by applying - worse case scenario 4 rejections and then you can try again once you have your minimum 3 As at A level.

If I was you I'd apply to uni's with no clear UKCAT cut-off and ones that use the entire application, there a table on http://www.applyingfordentalschool.co.uk/ukcat.html that kind of condenses some of the UKCAT info and might be useful to look at
