ok so i have this book i'm putting down for a course in politics and international relations, but it focuses on one nation and how their PM rose to power via social media. Is this a relevant book to put down? Gonna try and incorporate links to IR in it somehow...????

Just talk about the book and state your ideas on it. Like what their PM did might not be the best way and there could be ways to improve and change.

Yes of course it's relevant. I can't really see how you could think it wasn't, but don't worry. Just make sure to explain what you found interesting about it.
