    Hi,

Due to my mum's higher earnings from the assessed tax year I have just missed out of receiving a full bursary from my university for second year. However, she no longer has this higher earning job and she has calculated that this tax year her income will be below the threshold for a full bursary again. I am wondering if it is possible to send a current income assessment form to Student Finance, and if so, would this information be sent on to my university so they would reconsider me for a full bursary?

    Thank you!

Yes get her to fill in the CYI form here ASAP https://www.gov.uk/student-finance-f...ails/year-1617

Once the assessment is complete SFE will update your details and pay through any extra funds and you can speak to your university to prompt them to reassess you for their bursary too.

Thank you, do you know how long it will take to update my details?
