I've decided to resit my A2 exams and still aim for my first choice, but because of the changes to A levels my college can't accommodate me anymore so I'll be entering as a private candidate, which means I'll be home studying. Obviously I'll have to write another personal statement now, but what I'm wondering is: how much of this is relevant? Should I follow the general structure of my last personal statement which seemed successful and put a little bit of information about my circumstances in the beginning? Or is it more relevant to discuss what I'm doing now (which to be quite frank, isn't as varied as college was), giving some mention to the past year? I wouldn't want to talk too much about why I'm resitting if it isn't relevant.
Are you going to achieve yours?
