Have I ruined my chances?

    • Thread Starter

I am currently studying Computer Science, Business, and Maths at sixth form, and I really want to study computer science at York university (entry requirements AAB). However, I got a C in AS maths, which I am really disappointed with, but I am still predicted a B in maths (I will be retaking the AS exams). I am predicted an A in computer science and an A* in business. Do you think York will just dismiss me because I got a C in AS maths? My references are still good for every subject. Arghhh I don't know - any advice or comments would be much appreciated!! Thank you!!

If you retake the AS exam and you know for sure that you won't get another B, then go for it. And your A* in business is great for them. Also think about your personal statement and references, they will like you if they're that good
