There was a guy that I met through a walking group nearly 2 years who I liked. He showed some interest but kept messing me around. For the past year I have avoided him and hate blanking him when he is at the group as it makes me uncomfortable. I catch him looking at me at times as though he seems sad we are not talking. I would like to speak to him again as a friend only as I don't want to date him now. Am I best to meet up and explain as I am sick of this ongoing ignorance on my part as it is not letting me move on.

I would just leave it to be honest. Why waste time? Why give him a second chance when you can meet someone that won't mess you about first time around?

I don't want to give him a second chance at all. I just feel like I need to clear the air.*
