    Hello TSR!
At the moment, I am doing Economics, English, History and French, and obviously I have a lot of work to do! I really want to go to Oxford, but I don't know how much extra curricular stuff to do. At the moment, I do 2 bands on a Monday(compulsory), one band on a Tuesday (compulsory), one on Wednesday, a society on Thursday and CCF on Friday. However, on Thursday, I also do a choir from 5-7:45, and then on Sunday from 4:30-7. Do I need to do more, or do I need to give something up, especially seeing as how I have not been able to keep up with prep at the moment.
    Thanks
    Duck

Oxford literally care minimally about extra-curricular. Give up several things and concentrate on your grades instead - if you can, try and keep the extra activities most relevant to your subject at university (or replace one with something relevant, even if it's just time for extra reading).

I definitely think that doing super curricula (i.e. stuff related to what course you want to do in uni) is helpful. This could be listening to online lectures, attending lectures for free in major cities, wider reading related to said course. etc etc. Those show that you are passionate for whatever course you want to do.

Extra curricular activities are good and all but from what I've read/heard/seen, people usually briefly talk about them in their personal statement etc, to highlight their well roundedness.
