Can speed cameras see you jump red lights?

Just curious to know if a speed camera can also fine you for jumping a red light, or are they only to catch out speeders? I know you can get speed camera and red light camera combinations, but could a regular speed camera see you jump a red light, and could a red light camera see you speeding maybe?

I doubt they would put a speed camera up at a junction. The combined cameras will catch both, but I don't think single-focus cameras do.

Not that you would ever have cause to find out, of course....

How are you judging there is a speed camera? The sign that most people assume means "speed camera" actually means "area in which cameras are used to enforce traffic regulations". So if you're just judging it based on the sign, you're probably wrong.

All depends on the type of camera, a generally speed camera (the type in the big yellow box) won't recognise that you've ran a red.

Goes without saying of course, that you should try and avoid jumping red lights in the future.
