Hello so for my AS I got AAAB in maths, FM, chemistry and physics respectively. Very disappointed with my B in physics considering my work over the year was much better than that. My predicted grades are A*A*A in maths physics and further maths. Physics is an A* since my teacher knew I underperformed in AS. GCSE were 4A* 3A 5B. I'm applying for theoretical physics, is my application worthy at least for interview? Thanks in advance 👶

Your grades are very good! If the A* prediction in physics is justified in your reference then it should be fine too (especially because it doesn't even count this year).

Obviously grades aren't everything and if they like you, you'll be invited for an interview. I applied for chemistry with molecular physics - we got told that most people are rejected pre-interview so if you do get invited and it goes well you'll have a pretty good chance of an offer.

They do tend to give high offers though! But don't be discouraged by that because they've let in quite a few people who missed their offer by a grade or two this year.

    Good luck!
