It has become confusing trying to keep track of what everyone thinks trough about a hundred threads, so let's try to keep election arguements to one thread.
Who would you support, why? Why wouldn't you support the other guy?

an Siarach, could you please provide your evidence that kerry is a good soldier? You said in another thread that he is a fantastic soldier. Could you support that statement?

I provided the evidence in that thread, which was simply the number of times he had been decorated. Incidently i dont like him any more than Bush, i was just pointing out his superior record during vietnam.

the problem you now have is, open a poll which quickly becomes pointless, or have just the thread which there is comparatively little contribution to.

I actually rather like the 2 vice presidential candidates, its just Kerry/Bush that put me off. John MacCain interests me.

Let's name all the republican presidents from history

Lincoln
Grant
Hayes
Garfield
Arthur
Benjamin Harrison
McKinley
Theodore Roosevelt
Taft
Harding
Coolridge
Hoover
Eisenhower
Nixon
Ford
Reagan
George H. W. Bush
The especially notable ones are in bold type. Looking at this list it seems that just as many notable presidents were democrats. I don't think it is safe to exclude someone just because he is a republican.

Ps. Thanks Expression.

First, that means nothing in relation to the upcoming election, and lets name the democrats:
Jackson
Van Buren
Polk
Pierce
Buchanan
Johnson
Hayes
Cleveland
Wilson
FDR
Truman
JFK
Johnson
Carter
Clinton

I dont think there was a better president then FDR. JFK basicly saved the world from a nuclear war.
