    Hi all,

I'm starting my law degree at Dundee uni a little late this year. i was on campus on Tuesday and noticed students wearing "business dress". I'm not sure which School they belonged to however, it got me thinking...is there a dress code for law students or an expectation that they wear business dress to classes?

This feels like such a girly question but I would rather not stick out like a sore thumb by dressing in jeans if everyone else is in business dress and vice versa.

Thanks in advacnce for your help.

Well given that law is an academic degree and you aren't at 'law school' so to speak you don't need business dress. You could have seen anyone really how do you know they were students?

    Hiya!

I go to Dundee (not a Law student, politics one). There is no dress code. People dress how they want, honestly. Those people in suits were probably attending meetings, or maybe they were going to class, who knows? Fact is, just wear what you are comfortable in, honestly.
