Hey everyone, I honestly hope you are doing well! I have given my O-levels last year and I got an A* in English as First Language, and now I've moved onto A-levels. I wanted to get into a well reputed university somewhere in the UK or England (I'm from Pakistan) and I decided to go for a summer course this year abroad to help boost my resume and of course, because I want to learn as much as I possibly can about my subject (History). However, I've come across contradictory views about whether or not I should give my IELTS since I've gotten a decent grade in O-levels and people have informed me it already proves my English language capabilities. However, summer course sign up forms usually ask for IELTS scores. Do you think I should give my IELTS? And if not then do you believe there is some other way, or is my O-level grade a valid indication which I can submit to the universities?

Thank you all so much for whatever feedback you give!
