Hello, I'm sorry if this isn't a good place to post this but I figured this is closely related to mental health issues or people suffering with them, as it's not a wild stretch to say for example my personality disorder and being estranged from my family are unrelatedI'm a first year estranged student looking to study at the London Metropolitan, and I'm having some huge issues with finding accommodations. Since I have no guarantor I could not secure any places in the nearby student halls, and going private is becoming impossible as those who don't ask for a guarantor usualy are only looking for joint tenants, and again since this is my first year I don't have anyone to buddy up with, and trying to find people to buddy up with online is yielding no results either! If anyone's been in a similar situation how on earth do you go about finding people to buddy up with? Or finding accommodation that doesn't require a guarantor? It's 2 weeks to my course and my lease of my current flat is running out I'm seriously scared of becoming homeless, even though I have the money to give for a flat!

Have you contacted the accommodation services at your uni to explain your situation?

I did and unless I got the wrong number they were profoundly unhelpful, they just said to private rent and I explained my troubles and they kind of went 'I dunno really' so.... LITERALLY no help there, is there any other services I can call? Every landlord I saw today turned me down either due to garentours or the fact I'm disabled :/ and I don't know what to do I'm really panicing

Speak to someone in person. And speak to disability services at your uni.
