Applied math degree or math degree?

    • Thread Starter

Hello i am planning to do a masters degree in mathematics but i want to know which one is better.
    Like what is the difference
    Whats the pros and cons
What is the best jobs can you do with
I always loved math so im torned on which one better

It depends which aspects you enjoy more! Do you like the pure theory, or do you enjoy applying your knowledge to real problems? Also, you may want to consider Engineering Mathematics as a course, it uses aspects of mathematical theory, practical engineering and scientific computing to find answers to complex real world problems. If you are considering applied maths then this may also be a good consideration for you.

Hmmm, I wonder why the user "EngMathsBristol" is recommending studying "Engineering Mathematics"?
