    Does Lse take applicants for economics who study maths, further maths and economics alevel only?

    No they will consider other applicants this is the most common combination based on previous years. An A* in math is required. It is also difficult to demonstrate a passion for Economics in your PS if you did not study economics but economics is not mandatory. MA100 Math is compulsary in the first year and is considered the hardest course in year 1 at the LSE so further math is useful. Good Luck

    All applicants with have A* in maths as it is a requirement . 90% will have economics - see lse website, A level Economics is not required.
    Not all schools offer further maths.

    10% will not have economics which seems strange. The first year economics course is easy compared to the 2 math courses MA100 and ST102 .
