I am applying to university, and will be sitting three exams next summer, as a private candidate.

However, when I declare the pending qualifications in the 'Education' section, under the centre I will be sitting the exams at, I receive the following message:

Warning: as you have entered a finish date which is in the future, these details must be for the school or college you are currently attending.

I am not currently attending this centre, as I am a private candidate. I will simply be sitting exams there. I have an external referee who will be predict my grades.

What can I do about this?

You add the centre for the date(s) of the exams, with attendance as "part time"

That's what I've done, but the warning message still comes up.

Then you've not got the dates right. You need to show that you're attending this centre at the same time as you're getting the qualifications.

I have said I will start in May 2017 and finish in June 2017. The message still comes up.

Also I have some qualifications where I only know the centre number and not the name, and therefore am unable to declare them.

    Can anyone help with this?

Okay, weirdly the message appears to have gone now. But if someone could answer my other question I'd greatly appreciate it.
