I want to study engineering at Corpus Christi College, Cambridge. However, for the 50 applicants on average who apply for engineering, only 6 get in. Should I apply for another college?

NO!!! Apply to the one you like. If you don't get in, you might be pooled anyway. Plus the stats change each year, and the quality of students do too.

Apply to whatever college you like the look of, you have the same chance of getting into the university no matter which college you apply to.

I've never met someone who doesn't like their college so at the end of the day it doesn't matter much.
