Composition only at RCM or RAM

    • Thread Starter

Hello, I'm applying for undergraduate composition at both the aforementioned institutions, I'm just wondering if anyone has any experience of doing the same either now or in the past? I've found heaps of forums and posts all over the internet about various instruments but never really anything about just composition applicants. Does anyone know what the second interview and task stages of the application process are like? All I can gather is RAM say you'll sit a 50 minute exam and RCM just mention 'additional tasks', also any judgement either personal or otherwise as to which one of the two is more favourable for this course, I realise a lot of it is personal preference though, in any case any insight would be much appreciated, thank you.

[If there's a forum somewhere I've missed I'd be very much obliged if you would be so kind as to link me to it.]
