Heights in relationships
I recently got into a relationship with a guy (I am a guy too) and am very worried about height differences. I am short (5'5") whilst altho he is not tall he is still quite a bit taller than me (5'9"). I know height shouldn't be an issue between two people who love each other, but I was wondering what you lot thought about what height differences you see as ok.

Height really shouldn't matter at all. Im 5'11 nd my last gf was 5'1 and it didnt seem odd or anything. Rather liked having a small gf lol. There will be some people who would be picky about height, like my friend, who thinks the guy should be taller than the girl but meh. Different people feel differently about it.

I wouldnt say that that was a very big height difference really .. yea your different heights but it isnt like a major difference n i dont think anyone would think or look twice at the difference

That's not much of a difference really.
I have a friend who is 5'2" and her boyfriend is 6'2''. Doesn't make a blind bit of difference to them, so I wouldn't worry about your 4 inches!

I can't imagine you'd find that particularly hard to keep to though...Try being 5'9 and doing that.
Meh, height is really irrelevant in these things. 5'5 is fairly average for a girl, and in fact 5'9 is on the short side for a guy, so it's really not like there's a huge gap. Just get a copy (or two) of Yellow Pages

5'9 is actually exactly average height for a guy, and 5'5 is close enough with respect to girls.
(sorry for nitpicking, just felt I'd defend my 5'9"

That's not a huge gap. Most guys I know are much taller. My fella is 6'2'' and I'm 5'6'' - there's been no problems. In fact he thinks I look smaller and is always mock-impressed when I manage to reach up to him

I'm 5ft1 (and a half!) and my boyfriend is 6ft 5. I do tend to end up with pretty tall guys for some reason (according to my friend I have a "tall guy fetish") but I dont think height really makes a difference.

I think height difference is totally fine, I'm 5'4 and my boyfriend is 6'2. It doesn't make any difference whatsoever to us. In fact all the couples i know have a fair bit of height difference as has just been shown on here.

Well... I'm about 5'7 and my boyf is like 1 or 2 inches smaller than me. I guess I was worried that we might look silly when we first started going out, but we've been together for over a year now and I couldn't care less =) xxx
