I'm doing biology, chemistry, maths in a level and I need to pick a fourth subject out of business and PE (sports), which one would help with medicine?

My advice is that some medical schools don't accept PE as part of your offer as biology is also there.

What about an essay based subject? Uni s love a range of subjects and don't really favour PE or business studies.

I'm not sure, but I chose Geography as my fourth to train my writing/analytical skills, and have a diverse option choice.

P.E. instead of another science based subject like physics? Kinda risky if you ask me.

Many medical schools will not except PE as a stand-alone subject when you take it in conjunction with Biology duet the cross-over of content- so in my opinion it would be better to take a different subject. However Business Studies is usually seen as a softer subject. If you can and are able to I would recommend taking a more medically relevant a-level e.g physics, geography or philosophy and ethics.
