I applied for supply chain and I thought I had done quite well too. Don't understand how places were already filled up (according to the reason why I got rejected) when in fact I applied really early on in October

I did the interview in the last week of November.

That's strange Peace4life, maybe we received different emails? Mine didn't mention the places specifically filling up just that competition had been intense and my application would not be taken further on this occasion. : /

Maybe Unilever has just high standards and we dont pass their criteria? but I am just thinking what are their basis? Have you received any automated feedback after completion of video interview? What did it say to you guys?

Yep, there were a few things like 'However, you could improve further by...' etc. I imagine that's the same for everyone?

Same here. Have you seen the video closure after completing the video interviews? It is mentioned that the results will be reviewed within and they will feedback us around 2-4 weeks? I wonder how true is that? :s-smilie:

I'm also not sure if that's an automatic feedback. I strongly believe it came from HireVue's agents.

I'm not sure how they could do automatic feedback, although feedback within a couple of hours does make it seem like it must be computerised... I'm not sure!

I didn't read anywhere about the 2-4 weeks wait though - thinking that maybe my score wasn't quite high enough so they're waiting to see who else comes through. Fingers crossed I guess!

Lets still hope for the best. Seriously? You didnt see any closure video after completing the video interviews? The closure video is done by the CEO of Unilever. He said there they will be reviewing our responses within 2-4 weeks.

BTW, what program did yoi apply for? Me BTM.

To be honest I can't remember, it was a couple of months ago now! I applied for the Human Resources programme

I applied for the HR programme, received positive feedback (excellent + some areas to improve) from the online video interview. I received a rejection letter from Unilever a day or 2 after Christmas. It basically just said that the competition is high blah blah blah (standard rejection letter). Good luck to the rest of you!

Oh I'm so sorry to hear that!
Did you receive an email or a physical letter? I'm worried that it's been sent to my uni address and I have no idea!
