Don't worry, mine was absolutely boring, went for a meal with family and that was it.

Just the typical, went on a very messy night out. I learned something that night - never wear a white shirt, order a colourful drink and then hit the dancefloor with drink in hand.

I went to Edinburgh for 4 days with my mum and 2 friends. We all just went sight seeing, got drunk and had a laugh. Was a good trip

What 18? I don't remember it, mainly because it was like any other day.

Did more for my 16th than for my 18th. To be honest I had a quiet affair and I liked it that way, it's scary how the years go by.

Nothing special, actually I almost cried that night because I hate birthdays and I realised I was a year closer to death XD

I actually got my first tattoo on my 18th. Incredible experience. It's not for everyone I know but why not try something new? Something you couldn't have done before you were 18.
I also did the typical bar stuff too with some mates and had a really great time. Doesn't have to be crazy, just go for a drink with the people you want to celebrate with.
Sadly most of my friends were not 18 by my birthday so I couldn't go clubbing but if you have a lot of friends who are I would really recommend it, even if you don't think it's something you'd be in to, just try it, it's nothing like I thought it would be and I have never had a bad clubbing experience

18 in a few days and I don't expect it to be any different from any other day.

Except with people saying Happy Birthday and the occasional awkward photo on Facebook.

This won't make you feel any better but you aren't a year closer to death on your birthday, you're only a day closer.

Hmm clubbing, well my birthday is on a school day and yeah most of my friends arent 18 aswell. Clubbing is probably boring for me as I don't like the idea of "getting smashed" I like socialising but not being drunk .

Also Tatoo sounds awesome, but somethjng I need to think about first xD
