I have to write an essay of ~2200 words where I have to make a math exploration> The exploration should concern something from the real life situation. Mathematical skills are the most important tho. One example is: Modelling the susceptibility of infectious diseases!
It has to be somewhere in an A level MAths range. The investigation must not be simple because I am aiming for A*
Do you have any other ideas?

What does this count towards? Probably best to look at applied maths (look into high level modelling and mechanics/statistics things)

you could do poker analysis though not sure how well that would go down. However poker maths can get very complex if taken to a high level.
